Bone Cement

BAYCARE BONE CEMENT- STERILE SURGICAL KYPHOPLASTY-VETEBROPLASTI

BAYCARE-ALCASIS ™ ZV is specially designed for use in low viscosity acrylic bone cement, vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty. It has sufficient working time and suitable polymerization temperature. It provides high visibility under X-ray with Ph Eur BP USP synthetic Barium Sulphate as opacifier. This product can be applied in osteoporotic vertebral fractures in patients with spinal angiography. It is indicated for strengthening and stabilization of a fracture, collapsed or compressed spine body caused by pathological conditions such as osteoporotic or tumors. It also has a low reaction rate to minimize exothermic damage to bones or other tissues. It has high visibility with its high radiopaque content. While Alcasis ZV Vertebroplasty bone cement is used, each product package contains a bowl and spatula. This bowl and spatula are made from acid-resistant raw materials.

BAYCARE- BONE CEMENT- WITH ANTIBIOTIC- RADIOPAQUE STERILE SURGICAL ACRYLIC

BAYCARE- Alcasis Genta Bone cement PMMA bone cements are available with antibiotics (Gentamicin) and in two different viscosities to suit the surgeon's preferences. All of our cements meet or even exceed the International ISO 5833 Standard for PMMA bone cements. Two different viscosities for various applications Short residence time and efficient application time Stable and easy-to-use packaging: liquid in one ampoule and one tyvek sachet powder Manufactured in our accredited facilities meeting leading European and international standards. Alcasis Genta Bone cement Performance Viscosity is an important use characteristic for surgeons. We provide both standard and low viscosity bone cements, offered with and without antibiotics, to meet the needs and preferences of different surgeons.

BAYCARE- Alcasis genta Bone cement is our standard viscosity bone cement, which is initially more fluid. All cements conform to the International ISO 5833 PMMA standard, which defines the physical, mechanical, packaging and labeling requirements for bone cements. Low curing temperature To prevent necrosis of the surrounding tissue, International Standard ISO 5833 (2002) sets a limit of 90 ° C for the curing temperature of bone cements. The highest exothermic temperature of the BAYCARE- Alcasis Genta Cement variants is well below this limit. Antibiotic bone cements The most commonly used bone cements contain Gentamicin, an antibiotic that covers about 62% of all gram-negative bacteria. The addition of gentamicin to bone cements prevents bacteria from adhering to the cement surface and surrounding tissue, reducing the risk of bacterial growth and infection. Alcasis Genta Cement, We limit the amount of antibiotics to 2.44% of the total powder volume in order to provide effective antibiotics without compromising the mechanical strength of the product. Genta Cement offers a high antibiotic release that steadily decreases over time. While burst release initially reduces the risk of resistant bacterial strains, extended release helps maintain the physiologically relevant local antibiotic concentration required for adequate prophylaxis.

When using BAYCARE-Alcasis genta bone cement, each product package contains a bowl and spatula. This bowl and spatula are made from acid-resistant raw materials.

BONE CEMENT- STANDARD VISCOSITY- RADIOPAQUE STERILE SURGICAL ACRYLIC- ANTIBIOTIC FREE

BAYCARE-ALCASIS ™ Bone Cement It is a medium viscosity bone cement used in hip, knee and shoulder implant fixation. In orthopedics and other surgical specialties, its application is indicated when prosthetic elements need to be fixed with a sterile polymerizable material. Manufactured and tested according to ISO 5833 acrylic resin cement standards, BAYCARE-ALCASIS ™ bone cement has demonstrated superior quality and mechanical test performance in all formulations. ALCASIS ™ bone cement with outstanding adhesion and mechanical properties provides high visibility under X-ray with Ph Eur BP USP synthetic Barium Sulphate as opacifier. In terms of application, modern systems are produced in accordance with syringe / cement gun and manual application. BAYCARE-ALCASIS ™ Bone Cement is contained in a double layer tyvek envelope whose powder portion creates a high sealing and protection barrier. In this way, the cement powder can be poured into the preparation container easily and cleanly. In addition, the product is protected against external factors with bilister packaging and is safely protected until the end user, the surgical personnel. It is a formulation with sufficient working time and suitable polymerization temperature. All of our cements meet or even exceed the International ISO 5833 Standard for PMMA bone cements.
